Living Assurance

Living assurance is designed to pay a lump sum in the event of you suffering critical condition covered by the policy. Some examples of these include cancer, heart disease and stroke, major neurological disease, major burns and paralysis. It can also be accelerated against Life Cover with a buy back option allowing you to buy back the portion of Life Cover used.

Disability Income Protection

Disability Income Protection provides a monthly income if you are unable to work due to sickness or injury. It includes a number of special features that can be used for rehabilitation or occupation re-training.

Many New Zealanders have selected Agreed Value option for their income protection insurance. Unlike other indemnity and loss of profit options, Agreed Value provides guaranteed cover when it is needed most.

Our Farmer's Benefit provides cover for farmers without requiring replacement labour to qualify for a claim. It allows for a Disability Income benefit to be made available for farmers in certain circumstances.

Essential Disability Income

Provides a monthly income in the event of you being disabled as a result of suffering one of 27 critical health events.

This is the ideal product for individuals whose occupations prevent them from purchasing Disability Income Protection, or for those who seek a lower cost option. It is however restricted to disabilities caused by 27 specified critical health events.

Total Permanent Disablement (TPD)

Pays a lump sum in the event of total and permanent disablement caused by accident or illness. Like Life Cover, TPD Cover can be purchased in either of two formats ? one specific to individuals with businesses, and the other for individuals with families.

Business Overheads

Pays the owner or partner of a small business a monthly benefit to cover the continuing business expenses incurred should the owner become totally disabled. This monthly business income can be paid up to one, or two years.

Locum Cover

Locum Cover provides funds to help your business maintain operation if you become totally disabled. It reimburses the costs of replacing you, or if is not suitable to replace you with a locum, it provides cover for eligible business overheads.

Payments under Locum Cover are not offset by any ACC payments.

Waiver of Premium

This option can be added to your insurance plan It eliminates the burden of paying premiums when you are unable to work due to total disability resulting from illness or injury.
